So as a second question am I doing the right thing here to get more enjoyment just playing through from scratch or am I crazy to not access things like stonebinders cuffs of alacrity which I may never see again in this lifetime and which I farmed and earned legit back in the day? I have resisted the temptation to load up my old vault which had tons of items - rare double MIs, legs, completed relics, crazy twink items etc in favour of doing a totally fresh playthrough. I also ask because I still remember how rare some of these items were - I still have my old tqvault and the stonebinders cuffs OF ALACRITY I farmed back in the day which took an obscene amount of time.
Last time I played was around 2013 (so just OG vanilla IT.) decided to buy anniversary edition along with both DLC and on my literal first playthrough act 1 normal first run through pythian caves I got a stonebinders cuffs from a yellow Medusa in the caves (so not from the 3 boss sisters) and would like to know if this was stupid luck or if drop rates have been buffed for MIs etc in AE?
